The Sunrise Adult Training Centre invites applications for the following post:

Bus Driver/ Programme Support Assistant

To provide the safe transportation of Clients to and from the Sunrise Adult Training Centre during programme hours, as well as throughout the day on outings, and transportation of vocational clients to and from work and/or internship placements. To provide programme support in the Support Workshop and Vocational Training programmes to supervise and assist with the training of clients when not engaged in transportation.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum qualification of a High School diploma (3 GCSE/O Levels).
  • Must hold a Group 3 License and have at least 5 years of experience driving buses or large vans with a clean driving record (A Group 4 licence would be an asset) and preference will be given to those with experience dealing with a Wheelchair Adapted vehicle.
  • Must be physically fit and have a caring attitude.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working or volunteering with persons with special needs disabilities.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written.
  • First Aid/CPR certification a plus.

Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to pass two driving assessments in the Sunrise buses.
