The Office of the Auditor General of the Cayman Islands is a legislated organization independent of the Executive branch of Government. Our mission is to deliver independent, high quality public sector audit that promotes accountability, transparency and integrity in the use of public resources. We accomplish this through audits of the financial statements of government and its statutory authorities and companies as well as performing independent performance audits on government operations.

We invite applications for the following position:

AUDIT PROJECT LEADER

The post holder will assume responsibility for a portfolio of Government clients, reporting to the Audit Managers. Duties include a wide range of audits on the financial statements of Ministries, Portfolios, Statutory Authorities, and Government Companies; performance audits and special investigations. A highly motivated self-starter is sought. Audit Project Leaders are expected to be able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience: Applicants for the Audit Project Leader position must be a qualified Accountant (i.e. ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification audit experience. Information systems audit experience is desirable. Applicants must be able to prepare complex technical audit reports, and make clear, concise recommendations.
