The Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands is seeking to employ an independent Airworthiness Surveyor to work in the North American Region on a part-time basis. The successful applicant should possess regulatory oversight experience and the ability to function independently to internationally mandated standards. This post will report to the Director Air Safety Regulation (DASR) based in the Cayman Islands. The functions of the post are to regulate and monitor the airworthiness of civil aircraft registered on the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry principally located in the North America region or worldwide as assigned to ensure compliance with the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order.
The successful applicant must be prepared to work flexible hours and be willing and able to travel on short notice as required.
