The Ministry of Financial Services & Home Affairs welcomes suitable applicants on behalf of General Registry for the posts of:

Programmer (Oracle)

The post holder will define, design, construct, test, deliver, modify, maintain and support the development or procurement and implementation of General Registryís online systems, (EDMS, GRSS, BDM, CBP and General Registry Website) to meet identified business needs of the department, its clients and other Government Agencies.

Do you have the following qualifications and attributes?

Bachelorís degree, with a minimum of five (5) years post-graduate experience; OR An Associateís degree with a minimum of eight (8) years post-graduate experience; OR More mature entrant with eleven (11) years of post-high-school experience and four (4) GCSE passes, if aptitude for analysis and software development work is evident

Note: All of the above experience must be in software development, or related IT fields.

  • Demonstrable evidence of a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrable evidence of above average inter-personal skills and experience of handling user contact, whilst keeping the customerís needs continually in mind
  • Should have some knowledge in Application Development Methods and techniques intended to facilitate the structured development of applications (e.g. SSADM, DSDM) and clear
  • Demonstrable evidence of a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrable evidence of above average inter-personal skills and experience of handling user contact, whilst keeping the customerís needs continually in mind.
