invites applications for the following positions:

Senior Information Systems Auditor

The post holder will be the Lead Systems Auditor in the planning and execution of a portfolio of audits in information technology subject areas and provide consulting and advisory services to agencies across government. They will provide internal auditing activities to evaluate risk management, control and governance processes and provide viable recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing IT related operational and compliance audits and special reviews within Government Agencies, Statutory Authorities, and Government Companies
  • Plan and execute all Audit and Review Services assignments in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the relevant systems audit methodologies
  • Conduct and/or lead a team of auditors in the planning, fieldwork and reporting of IT related audits and reviews.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

The post holder would be expected to have / be...

  • A qualified Internal Systems Audit professional (CISA or International equivalent)
  • 3 years relevant information technology systems auditing experience.
  • Knowledge of the IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework, International Auditing Standards and International Accounting Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate information and solve problems by collecting and analyzing complex data, understand and apply strategic management principles and frameworks, analyse business risks and determine their impact on operating systems and objectives, and to formulate appropriate recommendations as necessary to improve management systems.
  • The ability to work independently without supervision and to speak, write and present in a clear, accurate and concise manner.
