The Public Works Department invites applications for the position of:

Senior Manager - Project Management

The position of Senior Manager – Project Management will organize, direct, coordinate and administer Capital Building Works from initial client liaison through to defining the project requirements, master-planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning. He/she will operationally manage the Project Management (PM) Section and to ensure the project management/work remains in accordance with professional best practice and relevant policies/procedures. Also, directly provide timely professional project management services in order that projects achieve the desired outcomes - completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

The post holder must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar construction related discipline from a recognized/accredited institution and be a Registered or chartered professional member of a relevant discipline, established either in the US, UK or Canada (TICS, MICE, RIBA, AIA, PMI, RICS or similar). A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience in project managing large building projects, at least three (3) of which should involve the management/supervision of other project management professionals. He/she must have broad experience in the management of all phases of capital building projects, including client liaison, design, procurement/tendering procedures, building permits/regulatory compliance, contract management, construction methods and financial schedule/control and be proficient experience with Project Management software. A valid Drivers License is required.
