His Excellency the Governor Martyn Roper, OBE invites expressions of interests for appointment to various statutory authorities.

Are you a Caymanian or a resident of the Cayman Islands who is interested in enhancing transparency, accountability and ethical standards in public bodies?

If so, the Commissions Secretariat, on behalf of His Excellency the Governor Martyn Roper, OBE, welcomes your expression of interest for appointment to various statutory commissions.

Members are being sought for future appointments to the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Civil Service Appeals Commission, the Commission for Standards in Public Life, the Constitutional Commission, the Human Rights Commission and the Judicial and Legal Services Commission. Membership requirements vary by Commission, and are determined in accordance with the Constitution or originating legislation. Unfortunately public officers are ineligible to be considered for appointment due to the remit/nature of the work of the Commissions.

Members receive small stipends as volunteers appointed by His Excellency the Governor, some after consultation with the Honourable Premier and Honourable Leader of the Opposition. Appointments vary but are generally between 2 and 4 years in duration.
