The Portfolio of the Civil Service is currently seeking talented, service-oriented applicants for the following roles:

Strategic HR Officer

The Strategic HR Officer, working as part of a team of 3-4 within the Strategic and Corporate HR Unit, provides Human Resources (HR) Services to the entire civil service, and contributes to the improvement of Corporate HR practices within government through effective administration, advice and technical Human Resource support.

The requirements:

A minimum of a Certificate in Personnel Management/HR OR an Associate’s Degree (Business Administration or similar relevant area); with a minimum of 3-5 years HR or administrative experience; and be highly computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ideal candidates will also have, experience in the application and use of a Job Evaluation system; experience with the development of job descriptions; experience in the use (and training in) Oracle HRIRIS or alternative computerized HR system; experience in recruitment related activities; and a working knowledge of the Public Service Management Law and Personnel Regulations. Additionally, applicants should be able to demonstrate the competencies listed in the job description document .
