The Ministry of Education, Employment & Gender Affairs invites applications for the post of:

Director, National Workforce Development Agency (NWDA)

To establish, lead and manage the activities of the National Workforce Development Agency (NWDA) for the Cayman Islands, to provide an effective framework for the delivery of innovative and high-quality programmes and services that support human capital development planning, workforce preparation and the employment needs of job seekers and those who want to further their careers. This role requires a highly-motivated, creative and strategic thinker, well-versed in human capital and workforce strategy development and implementation, and of large scale change management strategies, with proven leadership, management and communication skills.

Qualifications, Experience & Special Skills:

  • Masterís Degree in Education, Counseling, Management or HR Management or other relevant discipline, or hold a professional qualification in one of these areas, with at least seven years significant high-level (executive) managerial experience across the whole range of organisation management tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing human capital management issues such as workforce planning, change management strategies, training and development, talent acquisition with up to date knowledge of developments in the areas of workforce and human capital development.

The remuneration package for the successful candidate is offered without deductions. The Cayman Islands Government provides an additional 12% pension contribution and 100% health insurance coverage for the employee and their dependents
