The Office of the Auditor General of the Cayman Islands is a legislated organization independent of the Executive branch of Government. Our mission is to deliver independent, high quality public sector audit that promotes accountability, transparency and integrity in the use of public resources. We accomplish this through audits of the financial statements of government and its 42 separate entities as well as performing independent performance audits on government operations and other audit related work.

This is an exciting new entry level position suitable for a Caymanian wanting to gain an accountancy qualification and start a career as an auditor. The post holder will be supported with their studies and undertake various audit duties under supervision and will work on a wide range of government clients.

Qualifications & Experience: Applicants for this position must hold a bachelorís degree in a relevant field and be motivated to start or be actively studying for an accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA). Candidates must be computer literate and show an aptitude for audit work.
