Key Responsibilities:The post holder will work in a team of Information Technology (IT) professionals who are responsible for providing high standard professional computer hardware and software support and installing and maintaining Desktop computers, Data Communications and Network equipment.

The post-holders primary responsibility is to participate in a call center and receive customer calls to ensure that the customer’s needs are properly channeled via the service desk system. The service desk team is also responsible for providing quick resolutions where possible e.g. password changes.

Qualifications: The post holder should possess an IT related Associate’s degree plus a minimum of four (4) years’ post-graduate relevant experience; OR for a more mature entrant, with a minimum of three (3) CXE passes, six (6) years of experience is required. All the above experience must be in IT technical support or service desk support

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must be proficient in customer service techniques to maximize customer satisfaction on problem resolution. Must have excellent telephone and written communication and interpersonal skills; possessing the ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment and to become familiar with in house applications for client interfacing telephone support. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and demonstrate superior customer service skills in dealing with aggressive users and emergency situations is also required.
