ART FLIX Presents Power of Art

Power of Art

Each month the National Gallery presents ART FLIX, a public screening of art films and documentaries relating to the history of art. The films are introduced with a short lecture and attendees are invited to discuss films following screenings.

This month, on Wednesday 15th October, David, Turner and Van Gogh are featured in the second of a three part series of hour-long films on eight seminal artists and their groundbreaking works.

This volume of the series is called Simon Schama's Power of Art (Part 2). Each portrait of the artist weaves biography and historical context to help explain the true power of his works.

A complimentary glass of wine accompanies the film which begins at 5:30pm at the National Gallery, Harbour Place. Admission is $5.00 or free for Gallery members.

To RSVP, contact or for more information call the Gallery at 945-8111.
