FOI Emails Restored
The Freedom of Information (FOI) Unit advises the public that all dedicated FOI e-mail addresses are now active.
"Some requestors received an automated response when they made requests this morning, but Computer Services has rectified the problem," said FOI Coordinator Carole Excell.
Only six public authorities are still experiencing email problems: Cayman Airways (firstname.lastname@example.org); the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (email@example.com); the Ministry for Communications, Works and Infrastructure (firstname.lastname@example.org); the Electricity Regulatory Authority (email@example.com); the Health Regulatory Services Department (firstname.lastname@example.org), and the Sister Islands Affordable Housing Department (email@example.com).
However, these public authorities' information managers can still be reached by telephone, and an updated contact list for all government entities is available at www.foi.gov.ky.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused, all emails should be operational by the end of the day," Ms Excell added.
