NGCI Presents Street Art Workshop
Totalling four Sunday sessions, February 8th, 15th, 22nd and March 1st, this modern course taught by street artist Jean "Jonty" Van Iddekinge and local artist Jo Austin will explore forms of street art through stencilling, exploring composition and the power of images.
Students will then learn hands on the tactical methods of street art through the completion of a public mural piece!
The workshop will accommodate all ages and students will be split up in groups according to age and sessions will be held from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The first two sessions will be held at the National Gallery, Harbour Place location and the final two sessions will be at the NGCI Community Mural Programme site next to the Glass House on Elgin Ave.
Cost: $80 with a 10% discount for Gallery members. Materials and refreshments are included.
