National Gallery Family Fun Days

Georgia O'Keeffe, Jack-in-the-Pulpit No. ii, 1930.

The month of May is Child's Month so what better way to celebrate than to bring your family to the National Gallery and join us for a fun and educational activity which everyone will enjoy! On Saturday, 23 May from 11am to 4pm, we will investigate the beautiful paintings of Georgia O'Keefe.

Families will learn about the artist as well as take part in art based studies of natural objects. The event is free and materials will be provided.

The Galley's Family Fun Days offer a variety of activities-films, music, hands-on art projects-for children and adults to enjoy together. Best of all, the activities are free and there is no advance registration for this drop-in program. However, participation in each activity is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about the Family Fun Days, e-mail Kaitlyn at or call the Gallery at 945 8111.
