Newly elected Minister of District Administration, Works and Gender Affairs, the Hon. Juliana O'Connor-Connolly, JP, met with her Ministry staff on Tuesday (2 June) before departing for her first Cabinet meeting.

Anxious to roll up her sleeves and get started, Mrs O'Connor-Connolly told the group that she is already brainstorming several ministry projects, with sources of funding being a top priority.

However, she also reassured her staff that she will be depending on their support and expertise to get things done. Meetings have already been arranged with the 16+ directors that fall within the Ministry's responsibility.

The Minister was warmly received by Chief Officer Kearney Gomez, MBE, JP, and other Ministry staff members.
