The newly appointed members of the Health Services Authority Board got right down to business with their recent visit to the Cayman Islands Hospital.

Minister of Health the Hon. Mark Scotland accompanied the group as they toured wards and met staff.

"I am pleased that the new board members were able to tour our major health facility so soon after being appointed. It provides them with good understanding of the services we have on offer and the challenges our hospital management face.

He added "Providing affordable and accessible health care for our residents is surely one of our top priorities, and I believe that these board members will rise to the challenge. They all bring unique abilities to the table, and I am grateful to all for accepting this responsibility."
