Tahiti Aquaculture 2010
Interested in tropical island aquaculture?
The EU Overseas Countries and Territories Association (EU-OCTA) invites interested persons, including professionals, scientists, and developers, to take part in the Tahiti Aquaculture 2010 seminar and workshop.
The conference takes place from Monday, 6 December, to Saturday, 11 December 2010, at the Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti in Arue.
"Sustainable Aquaculture on Tropical Islands" is the meeting's theme. Participants will discuss the progress made in aquaculture in tropical island settings; compare experiences and know-how; and listen to updates from invited countries and territories.
The Tahiti Aquaculture 2010 seminar and workshop is a follow-up to two tropical island aquaculture events: the meeting on aquaculture in the French overseas departments and territories held in Mamoudzou, Mayotte, in December 2008; and the first Pacific-Asia Marine Fish Mariculture Technical Workshop in Noumea, New Caledonia, in December 2007.
