Cabinet to Brac
The Cabinet of the Cayman Islands will meet the public at the Aston Rutty Centre on Monday January 14, 2013, 7.00-8.30pm, prior to convening in Cayman Brac on Tuesday, January 15.
Cabinet traditionally assembles in Cayman Brac and Little Cayman at least once every administration to familiarise itself with the concerns unique to those islands.
All elected ministers and appointed members are expected to travel to Cayman Brac for next week's session. This includes His Excellency, the Governor, Mr Duncan Taylor, the Premier and Minister for Finance, District Administration, Works, Lands and Agriculture Julianna O'Connor-Connolly; the Deputy Governor Hon. Franz Manderson; Deputy Premier and Minister for Education Financial Services and Employment Rolston Anglin; Minister of Tourism and Development Hon. Cline Glidden; Minister for Health, Environment, Youth, Sports and Culture Hon. Mark Scotland; Minister of Community Affairs, Gender and Housing Hon. Dwayne Stanley Seymour; as well as the Attorney General Hon. Sam Bulgin.
Officials urge residents of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman to take advantage of the opportunity to meet the senior Government leaders who make the major policy decisions for the Cayman Islands.
