Search Continues for 3 Escaped Inmates
Prison and police officials this morning continue to search for three inmates who escaped Her Majesty’s Prison Northward last night (Wednesday, 14 August).
At around 9:20pm a routine check of prisoners in B wing revealed that three inmates were missing. There was an immediate prison lock down and a systematic search was conducted. A breach in the double fences behind Bravo wing was discovered. It has been confirmed that the prisoners escaped by breaking out of the kitchen area of B wing, and then cutting through both perimeter fences.
The three Prisoners are:
- Steve Manderson who is 44 years old. He is serving a life sentence for murder and is a Caymanian. He is 5-foot 9-inches tall, of slim build and of a light brown complexion. He has low-cut dark brown hair.
- Marcus Manderson (Steve Manderson’s son) is 25 years old. He is serving a ten-year sentence for possession of an unlicensed firearm and is a Caymanian. He is 5-feet 10-inches tall, of slim build and of a dark brown complexion. He has medium-length hair, with dreadlocks.
- Chadwick Dale is 22 years old. He is serving a six year sentence for robbery. He is a Jamaican national. He is 5-feet 7-inches tall, of slim build and of a dark brown complexion. He has low-cut brown hair.
The three were last seen wearing prison-issued blue pants and white tee-shirts.

The public is reminded that it is a criminal offense to assist and/or harbor escaped inmates.
Northward Prison continues in a locked down state until prison officials complete their initial investigation into this matter.
