Beauty on the Road
With just three weeks to go before the Miss Cayman Pageant, the ten contestants took part in an Island-wide motorcade from the Turtle Farm in West Bay to Rum Point in North Side on Saturday 10 January 2015.
Miss Cayman Committee Chairperson Derri A. Lee said the traditional motorcade was a fun way for the young women to see Grand Cayman and for the island to see them. Ms Lee also thanked motorcade sponsors Andy’s Rent A Car Ltd and Automotive Art, as well as the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service which provided traffic control services.
Contestants previously visited Cayman Brac late last year.
Presently competitors, who were announced in September 2014, are working around the clock to get ready for the 2015 Miss Cayman pageant on 31 January, at the Lions’ Centre from 7.00 p.m. Organisers say this includes interview and catwalk training, in addition to an intense exercise regime.
