CERT Forming in Prospect

Prospect residents attend a CERT meeting. Catch the details on Wednesday, 9th September 2015 CIG TV broadcast.

Do you live in Prospect and want to help your community? You still have the opportunity to become more involved by joining a newly formed Prospect Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). At a meeting this week, some 60 'Prospectors'' signed up for free training in vital topics such as CPR, first aid and fire safety.

Check out CIG TV's Wednesday, 9th September 2015 broadcast on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/CIGovtInfoServices for details on how to still become a part of the team. You can get more information as well on CERTs at the Hazard Management Cayman Islands website www.caymanprepared.ky.

CIG TV next focuses on the National Gallery's permanent art exhibit that features over 150 art pieces by Caymanian and resident artists. See an interview with Gallery Director Natalie Urquhart to learn more about the exhibit.

Lastly but equally importantly, view the laudable efforts by a local business to improve the quality of their women employees' work atmosphere. Earning an award during International Breastfeeding Week for creating a great atmosphere for nursing mothers, Stafford Floorings has shown care and concern to women in its workforce. Learn on CIG TV the company's good corporate citizenship to earn the trophy.
