NWDA and Wine School 3 partner to offer Learn the Art of Wine!

The National Workforce Development Agency (NWDA) partnered with Wine School 3 to offer several scholarships to those registered with the NWDA to complete their Wine Service Class 101 and 102 courses, which are offered by the wine school. The company is owned by Shalico Christian and his business partner, Christian Esser who is a Sommelier.

Freedom of Information

As a Public Authority, the National Workforce Development Agency complies with the Freedom of Information Law, 2007.

The function of the National Workforce Development Agency is to assist applicants with employment-related services necessary to secure and maintain acceptable employment.

Employment Services

The NWDA Employment Services Unit assists job seekers at every level of the employment process; from registration, review of resumes, career guidance, identifying suitable job prospects and providing referrals to prospective employers.

Research & Statistics

The NWDA maintains a current database of registrants and opportunities while working closely with the Economic and Statistics Office to determine employment and industry trends, unemployment statistics and identify and anticipate service demands.

Training and Development

The NWDA provides professional training for job seekers to prepare them for work readiness; from communication, business conduct, workplace etiquette and customer service, to career and employment counselling.
