The library is located on the second floor of the old CIBC building. The primary goal of the library is the advancement of learning, teaching and research activities of the staff and students of the Truman Bodden Law School.

The holdings of the library comprise of primary and secondary materials (i.e., legislation, law reports judgments and serials). The library provides reference services, literature searches and accepts queries by telephone or email. Photocopying and printing facilities are available, as well as cloud-based catalogue which provides access to the library’s collection. You can access the catalogue at TBLS Library OPAC.

Truman Bodden Law School (TBLS) seeks to admit each year well qualified applicants from a range of educational backgrounds who can demonstrate their aptitude, suitability and preparedness to pursue a degree in law.

LLB - Bachelor of Laws

The first three years of study leads to the qualification of Bachelor of Law (Honours) Degree of the University of Liverpool.

Current Students

PPC - Professional Practice Certificate

The fourth year of study is the postgraduate Professional Practicum Course (PPC). Successful completion of the Qualifying Examination at the end course, followed thereafter by 18 months of articles of clerkship, leads to the qualification of Attorney at Law of the Cayman Islands.

Current Students

LLM/PGDip in International Finance: Law and Regulation

Applications are being accepted to join the LLM/PGDip in partnership with the University of Liverpool (UK), with entry in September 2018.
This programme is available part-time, offering work-friendly schedules and is eligible for the Ministry of Education local scholarships.
This programme is not a qualifying law degree and does not award access to legal practice.
