The new "Proud of Them" honourees will soon be seen on billboards across the Cayman Islands.
The names were formally announced this week during a media event that recognized the accomplishments of these young people -- who will each receive cash awards to encourage their pursuits.
Congratulating this third batch of young recipients, Minister the Hon Osbourne Bodden said, "We need only speak to the young people around us, to realise the talent that abides in our homes and schools.
...As role models and high achievers, these invaluable young people do more to guide and direct their peers and siblings, than anything we could formulate in the boardrooms of Government - or in the private sector."
The honourees are:
Noting that the recipients collectively embody the "essence of what we want our children to be, yet they are also independent, individual, young men and women", the Minister added that this national platform "serves to enhance their self-esteem, and garner wider community support for their positive efforts.
"Such recognition is a small token in return for their significant attainments in academics, their careers, in business, sports, culture or community service."
Chief Officer Jennifer Ahearn and Senior Policy Advisory Joel Francis also participated in the ceremony, which was attended by relatives, coaches and supporters.
