What We Do

The Ministry of Caymanian Employment & Immigration is responsible for the regulation of immigration services, including the administration of work permits, permanent residency, and Caymanian status.The Ministry also plays a central role in promoting the employment of Caymanians.

In addition, the Ministry oversees national labour and pensions matters, ensuring the development of fair, efficient, and sustainable systems that support the long-term growth and prosperity of the Cayman Islands.

The Ministry of Caymanian Employment and Immigration is comprised of the Department of Labour and Pensions (DLP) and Workforce Opportunities and Residency Cayman (WORC). The Ministry’s mission is to empower our leaders and officers to ensure the delivery of a model of excellence in all services for national security and labour development of the Cayman Islands.
