Ex-Gratia Stipend

Ex-gratia stipend available to Caymanian and Permanent Residency families who are placed under required home isolation from Public Health who are unable to earn an income during the isolation period.

The ex-gratia stipend is available for a limited time. Access the application form here.

Tourism Employee Stipend

The Tourism Employee Stipend ended on 30 June 2022.

Persons who still require assistance after this date have to apply to the Needs Assessment Unit (NAU) for assistance.

How to Apply

  1. Determine whether you may be eligible for NAU services by completing this form.
  2. Based on this self-assessment, you can apply for NAU services here.
  3. Submit your application along with all he necessary documents outlined on page 2 of the application guide.
 

If you need assistance with using the Online Application Portal to upload your documents, the Ministry will have staff available in the districts as follows:

  • Bodden Town: At the Bodden Town Public Library, Monday, 1 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm
  • West Bay: At the West Bay Public Library, Tuesday, 2 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm
  • East End: At the East End Civic Centre (William Allen McLaughlin Civic Centre), Wednesday, 3 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm
  • North Side: At the North Side Civic Centre (Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre), Wednesday, 3 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm
  • Savannah: At the International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) in MH 1 Classroom, Thursday, 4 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm
  • George Town: At George Town Town Hall, Friday, 5 August 2022, 1pm to 4pm

 To expedite the application process, please bring all of the relevant documents as outlined on page 2 of the attached Self-Assessment and Application Guide to upload the information.

Additionally, please kindly find attached a Community Resource Guide to other organizations which could assist you in securing employment or accessing other services. Please reach out to the relevant organizations directly for assistance.
