Facilities

The Department of Sports manages 15 Facilities throughout our Island. We are driven by the focus of supporting our local sporting culture with Safe, World Class facilities positioned throughout our Communities from West Bay to North Side. 

Our Facilities are available to the Public, Non - Profits and Associations for hire through our online platform.

Our Facilities

 George Town Facilities

Truman Bodden Sports Complex 
The Truman Bodden Sports Complex is the National Stadium of the Cayman Islands. Located in the capitol city of George Town, the complex has a maximum capacity of

 3,000 and consists of:
· An Olympic sized 8 lane running track
· A 110 yd x 70 yd football pitch
· 4 Netball courts

T.E McField Stadium (GT Annex) 
Located in Central George Town, the T.E McField Stadium has a 110yd x 70yd synthetic turf football field with covered bleacher seating, rest room and changing room amenities. This facility is shared with the district’s primary school and is opened for public use from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. This stadium is open to public use through the DOS booking system.

Cox Basketball Court
Cox Basketball Court is community facility on Easter Ave. that has a full basketball court and restroom amenities. Organized events must be booked through the DOS booking system.

Lions Aquatic Center 
This facility has a 25m pool, changing rooms and restrooms. It is available for use though the DOS booking system.

John A Cumber Primary School Field & Courts
In the center of West Bay, this facility is shared with the district’s primary school and has a synthetic turf youth football pitch and a full basketball court. This facility is opened for public use from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and does not require booking.

Dalmain Ebanks Boxing Gym
The box gym has a fitness suite, boxing training section and a boxing ring. Usage of this facility is coordinated through the Cayman Islands Boxing Association https://www.cibaky.com/

 West Bay Facilities

Ed Bush Sports Complex
Located in the district of West Bay, this facility has a 110yd x 70yd synthetic turf football field and a full-sized grass pitch. The stadium also has covered bleacher seating, changing rooms and restrooms amenities.

Softball Pitch
Adjacent to the Cricket Oval is the district’s softball pitch. It has a standalone softball pitch.

Jimmy Powell Cricket Oval
This facility consists of an international standard sized Cricket Oval, changing rooms, restrooms and clubhouse with balcony seating. This facility is used for local league and international matches only.

John Gray High School Walking Track
Consisting of a walking track and grass grounds, this facility is an open community facility designed for personal or group fitness activities. This facility is opened for public use from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and does not require booking. Organized events must be booked through the DOS booking system.

 Bodden Town Facilities

Joanna Clarke Primary Walking Track
In the Savannah area of the Bodden Town District, this facility is shared with the Primary School and consists of a walking track and a youth sized synthetic turf football field. This facility is an open community facility designed for personal or group fitness activities. This facility is opened for public use from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and does not require booking. Organized events must be booked through the DOS booking system.

Haig Bodden Sports Complex
At the Haig Bodden Complex, there is a 110yd x 70yd grass football pitch, a full Basketball Court and full Netball court, restroom and changing room amenities. The courts are open to the public from 7 am – 10pm. The football pith is opened for public use through the DOS booking system.

Gerrard Powell Field
In the heart of the Bodden Town District, this facility is shared with the Theoline McCoy Primary School and consists of a walking track and a youth sized synthetic turf football field. This facility is an open community facility designed for personal or group fitness activities. This facility is opened for public use from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and does not require booking. Organized events must be booked through the DOS booking system.

 East End Facilities

Donovan Rankine Field
In the district of East End, this facility has 110yd x 70yd grass football pitch. Usage of this facility is booked through the DOS booking system.

Ronald Forbes Field
With a youth sized grass football field, walking track and rest room amenities, this facility is open for public use from 7am – 10pm. Organized events must be booked through the DOS booking system.
