We are delivering the strong economic growth that benefits families and businesses across our Islands. By achieving government surpluses we can repay debts and, at the same time, invest in major capital projects such as the airport redevelopment that will support the future prosperity of our country.

We are creating the right conditions for job creation and opening up opportunities for our people, so moving towards full Caymanian employment. Small businesses are being better supported to grow and develop.

We are investing in affordable housing and have reduced stamp duty to give more first time Caymanian buyers the opportunity to own their own home. We are investing in schools and in teaching to create better educational opportunities for all our children so that they are ready to compete in an increasingly global and competitive jobs market.

We value and celebrate our proud heritage and traditions while acting to ensure the Cayman Islands remain a great place to live now and in the future. We are creating a much-needed National Development Plan to advance prosperity and protect the natural beauty of our islands. Our National Energy Policy is being implemented to reduce energy use and ensure our future needs can be met from more sustainable sources.

We are boosting recycling and ending this country’s unsustainable reliance on landfill by building a new waste-to-energy plant. We continue to protect Cayman’s precious natural environment through acquiring and safeguarding land and protecting natural species.

Cayman must remain a safe place to live. We are clamping down on crime by investing in policing and in border security while giving more support to ex-offenders to help them reintegrate into society.
